Q. Do you have to be a NEW client to purchase the Groupon Special?
A. Yes, ONLY NEW clients to The Med Spa (formerly The Med Spa @ All About Women) are eligible to purchase the Groupon Special.
Q. Does the laser destroy all types of hair?
A. The Laser works best on dark, course hair. It does not work on blonde, red, white, or grey hair.
Q. Can Laser treatments be done on all skin tones?
A. The Laser can safely treat natural skin tones as dark as fitzpatrik III “coffee with cream”.
Q. Can you have Laser treatments if you are tan or tanning? How long do you have to quit tanning to have treatments?
A. Absolutely NO suntan or recent sun exposure in the area of treatment. Tanning bed MUST be avoided 30 days before and after a laser treatment. No natural sun 2 weeks before and after treatment. We recommend SPF 30 or greater sunscreen used in the treatment area.
Q. What is included in Bikini Line treatment?
A. Pubic hair outside of the panty line. There is an upgrade option available for $65 women/ $120 Men per treatment which includes a partial or FULL Brazilian (includes front and backside).
Q. Do I have to shave the hair before treatment or can it be long?
A. Hair must be shaved 1-2 days before treatment. We can not treat hair with any length to it.
Q. Do you have a cancellation policy?
A. Yes, there is a mandatory $25.00 fee or loss of one treatment session for appointment changes made with less than 24 hours notice.
Q. Can I continue to shave, wax or tweeze during my treatments?
A. No tweezing or waxing the area for 3 weeks prior to treatment. (You can shave up to 1-2 days prior.)
Q. How many treatments are required for hair removal?
A. It is different for everyone. We normally recommend 5 -7 treatments. Many people are quite pleased with just 4 treatments.
Q. How often do I need to do the Laser treatments?
A. Treatments are done once every 6-8 weeks depending on the area being treated.
Q. What are your business hours?
A. We are open Monday thru Thursday 8:00 to 5:00, and Friday 8:00 to 3:00.
Q. Is gratuity included?
A. No, gratuity is not included but appreciated.
