Redness/Rosacea

A skin condition resulting in severe redness and spots on the face caused by the dilation of capillaries below the skin’s surface. Rosacea begins as outbreaks of flushing and redness on the face, but can also affect the neck, chest, scalp and ears.

Treatments can help control the symptoms of rosacea, reducing redness and inflammation. The VPL laser energy is absorbed by the capillaries making up the condition. Light is converted to heat within the skin, and this breaks down the capillary walls. The body then recognizes these broken vessels as waste and removes them naturally.
